In reading about Sam watching his daughter put together puzzles I was reminded of something I noticed in working with kinder-age kids. The majority of kids will begin a puzzle by choosing an object of interest from the picture as their starting point. I insist on starting with the edge pieces. As an adult I want to see the big picture, gage how everything will fit, and know borders, but the heart of a child is content enough to focus on one thing at a time. So true on a grand schemeā¦ Lord, give me the heart of a child. Show me how to be content with you knowing the whole picture and concentrate on living fully in Christ, here and now!
